In a press conference held at our central Salkia Howrah office, National President Advocate Ganeshlal Gupta issued an official declaration outlining necessary reforms for systemic electoral and administrative transparency across government departments.
Adv GL Gupta highlighted that administrative corruption begins with opaque election funding and a lack of public oversight on local budgets. NRPI advocates for introducing comprehensive, digital citizen-led audits of all municipal expenditures, publishing government tender allocations in open-source databases, and establishing strict timeframes for the issuance of basic civic services.
Proposed Legislative Blueprints Include:
- Direct Ledger Access: Making all local municipal and district spending files accessible via open public portals.
- Citizen-Led Oversight Councils: Creating localized non-partisan assemblies with powers to verify physical project completions.
- Anti-Corruption Accountability Checks: Initiating strict legal mandates and tracking mechanisms to penalize government departments delaying public licenses.
NRPI believes that transparent governance is not a privilege, but a constitutional right that must be structurally protected to restore public trust in the democratic setup.
